Myself personally think its a great idea to teach your kids early to be compassionate and to help others in need. My daughter who is 9 donates her birthday and Christmas money to help buy toys for others in need. Im involved in helping out with lots of things like helping families in need have a Thanksgiving dinner and buying toys and clothes for needy kids at Christmas time or in other times of need like a home fire or such. What im wondering is how many others get thier kids involved in these things? And if not then what are your reasons for not doing it? Thanks in advance for all the responses to this.

Blessed asked: Im designing a doctors office for a school project. My theme is art. There will be vibrant colors, photos of children from all around the world creating art etc. But because of this theme, I dont want the visiting children to be limited by their toys. I want them to be able to create art too. However, paint is too messy, crayons will be eaten and broken and so on.
What else can I do?

hi asked:
Just read a study that kids that learn from their parents are 50% less likely to get tied up in problems like these. What can you do as parents to help keep kids out of this stuff? What can parents who have kids with these problems do to help their kids? Just wanted to post this question for parents to reference and because it seems to be a growing problem, so anything you have to say would be appreciated.
I don’t have a kid…?

Vince N asked: I went to the store and saw these two same shoes. One of them was kids and the other’s was men. Size 6 for men’s fits me but it’s like 90 bucks. The kids size 6Y fits me too and it’s only 30 bucks.
What is the difference between kids shoes and men’s shoes?

Even for the holidays, isn’t it a little questionable for kids to be allowed to drink? Christmas bears or every day bears, bear is bear and kids probably ought not drink it, don’t you think?
