I want to aply for discovery kids adventure camp. Does anyone know how the people choose the kids? Like do they have them come to a place to audition or do they just pick from the videos? And the the answers from the questionnaire make a difference on how they choose?

Zefram asked:
Montessori schools usually go from preschool through elementary. Once the child transfers to a public middle school, do they have problems with the new environment, especially in light of the no-child-left-behind methodology which assumes all children should develop at the same rate within ridgid scholastic structures?

My son is 5 and is happy to play with mostly everyone. When will he start to be more choosey and talk about certain kids over others? I’m just curious- I know all kids are different– just wondering what your experience has been. Thanks!

Darian asked: In tribes, where parents and children share and sleep on the floor, inside a single small hut. There’s no modern appliances, nor water pipes or electricity, no real medicine, nor real education.
Or should the parents be forced to move to a decent modern place or forced to at least send their children to school or have their kids taken away?
A single hut, also means in some tribes or cultures, that love is made between both parents at night in that hut regardless of company.

What are some fun things you do with the kids during the summer? I work full time and my kids have to go to daycare, besides the week I’ll get to take them on vacation what else can we do? I’d like to know some fun things to do on the weekends or after a days work and their long day at daycare. Any ideas??

Robin Steele asked: Britney Spears is reported by inside sources as screaming to her two sons that they were “mistakes”. She also told them they were “burdens” (presumably on her life), and just as disgustingly, she told her sons that they’re to blame for why her and their father broke up.
What do feminists think about this?
Are Britney Spears’ kids experiencing the wrath of feminism and misandry at an early age?
To the feminists here: If you have kids, with at least one son and one daughter; do you treat your sons worse and show favortism and preferential treatment to your daughters? Do you put your daughters on a higher pedestal than your sons?

Wendell S asked:
Every working person is offended by the benefits that irresponsible people receive for having children that they neither want or can afford. But these children are innocent victims of their parents behaviors, none asked to be here. It is hypocritical to complaining about feeding a child here, when we spend billions killing children in other countries. With more and more people having children out of wedlock and no slowing in site. How do we alter this behavior without harming the children more? Since we can not sterilize people in this country, what do we do or is this just how its going to be?

In grade school years, there’s little league, soccer teams, swim teams, but nothing for track and field. My kids like to run but there is no track and field activities for their age group.

Regina K asked:
This summer I am teaching a Theater Program at a summer camp where I am supposed to have the campers (ages 10 - 14) write their own skits (in groups of about 5 - 10 kids) and perform them for the rest of the camp. How would I go about teaching this class? What kinds of techniques could I use to help the children come up with ideas for their skits?
